The General Insurance Association of Japan (GIAJ) has released the following updated figures as of Dec. 11: the number of insurance claims due to The Heavy Rain Event of July 2018 and Typhoon No. 21 (Typhoon Jebi) and Typhoon No. 24 (Typhoon Trami)" .

The figures below were gathered from both the General Insurance Association of Japan and the Foreign Non-Life Insurance Association of Japan member companies.
