  The General Insurance Association of Japan (GIAJ) has released the following figures: the number of claim payments, and the total amount of claim payments for Typhoons and Heavy Rains in fiscal 2018.
(The numbers and amounts also include estimates.)

 The figures below were gathered from member companies of both the General Insurance Association of Japan and the Foreign Non-Life Insurance Association of Japan.
