　Automobile insurance study team of the Thai General Insurance Association (Thai GIA) visited Tokyo.

　Headed by Mr. Anon Vangvasu, Thai GIA President, the team comprises of directors of the Thai GIA, the Road Accident Victims Protection Co., Ltd, the Insurance Premium Rating Bureau, and Thai Insurers Datanet Co., Ltd. The members included two ISJ graduates; Mr. Nopadol Santipakorn, Secretary General, and Mr. Kheedhej Anansiriprapha, Executive Director of the Thai GIA.

　The team studied the Japanese general industry’s efforts for promoting proper claim payments as well as underwriting at the GIAJ (including the Medical Education Institute for Insurers Adjusters), the Jiken Center (Research and Training Center for Automobile Repairs) and the General Insurance Rating Organization of Japan (GIRO).
