In order to respond to the damage caused by Typhoon No. 19 (Hagibis) in a prompt and proper manner, the GIAJ established the 2019 Natural Disaster Central Command, which is headed by the Chairman, at its head office in Tokyo. The command is doing its utmost to take the necessary measures to respond to the damage caused by Typhoon No. 19 (Hagibis), Typhoon No. 15 (Faxai), etc.

The grace period regarding the continuation of insurance contracts and premium payments has been extended for policyholders in the affected areas.
